Learn More and Register for the Wildcat Learn to Play Programs

Ages:  4 to 15

Session Length: 8 Sessions beginning September 12th

Cost: $240 per player

Interested in learning how to play ice hockey?  Look no further. The North Pittsburgh Youth Hockey Association offers a wonderful hockey development program called Wildcats - Learn To Play Hockey.

 

Jersey & Socks:  Wildcats practice jersey and matching socks will be handed out to all NEW participants at the first ice session.

Sticks:  Correct stick height is important!  With the toe of the stick on the floor, the stick shaft should reach the player’s chin when wearing hockey skates or the player’s nose when wearing street shoes.

Other Required Equipment:  Skates, Shin Pads, Cup/Garter Shorts, Hockey Pants, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Helmet, Gloves, Neck Guard, Mouth Guard

  • Sporting Goods Stores - Dunham's and Dicks
  • Online stores - Amazon, Hockey Monkey, Ice Warehouse

  • Online - Facebook marketplace
  • Local store - Play-It-Again Sports, and Goodwill
  • Borrow from a friend who plays hockey and has outgrown their equipment
